Join me on this walking tour of Mdina and Rabat which is the ideal way to see the main highlights.

During our tour of Mdina you will see a cocktail of different architecture from many different periods. Enjoy some stunning panoramas from the high bastion walls and explore the quaint alleys and narrow streets. We will then take a stroll along a typical street in Rabat, try some local nibbles and visit the very site that St. Paul stayed at in AD60 during the Roman period!

I will meet you at Mdina Gate which is the main entrance into the city.

This tour is made up of two parts. We will start from the main entrance to the city and during the tour you will see Vilhena Palace, Inguanez Palace, Mesquita Square, Mdina Cathedral, Palazzo Santa Sophia, The Carmelite Church, Palazzo Falson and Bastion Square.

The second part of the tour will take us via the old stores known as Magazzini and through Greek's Gate, arriving immediately in Rabat. You will see the Roman Domus, walk along one of the oldest streets in Rabat past St. Joseph's Church and stop to try some local sweets. We end up at St. Paul's Church and Grotto. We may include a visit to St. Paul's Grotto which is now part of the Wignacourt Museum so an entrance fee of five euros is applicable.

At this stage the tour will end and I can escort you back to the start point or you can make your own way back at leisure.
